This year, Pulumi is participating in Hacktoberfest with three areas where the community at large can collaborate to build new open source capabilities:
Native Pulumi Providers - Want Pulumi to work better with your favorite cloud services? We’ll show you how to get started building providers that let Pulumi users take full advantage of these services.
Operator and Automation API - Learn how to use Pulumi’s new Kubernetes Superpowers to build truly automated deployments for your workloads.
Reusable Infrastructure Libraries - Create new abstractions and infrastructure building blocks using Pulumi.
We'll be coordinating teams on the #Hacktoberfest channel on Pulumi Community Slack.
You can also follow @PulumiCorp on Twitter for Hacktoberfest announcements.
First, sign up on the Hacktoberfest site at https://hacktoberfest.digitalocean.com. To qualify for the official limited edition Hacktoberfest shirt, you must register and make four pull requests between October 1-31. Pull requests can be to any public repo on GitHub, not just the ones with issues labeled Hacktoberfest. If a maintainer reports your pull request as spam or spammy behavior, or not in line with the project’s code of conduct, you will be ineligible to participate.
Connect with other Hacktoberfest participants by using @DigitalOcean, @hacktoberfest, #hacktoberfest on your social media platform of choice.
