Event Description
Hacktoberfest — brought to you by DigitalOcean in partnership with Dev & Intel — is a month-long celebration of open source software. At Appsmith strongly believe in the power of open source and wish to build a welcoming community in the software world.
This event will be a tutorial on how to get kick-start your career with open source, how to open PRs and some best practices along the way. We will also unveil the Appsmith open source program to encourage new and seasoned developers alike to give back to the community. No contribution is too small — bug fixes and documentation updates are valid ways of participating.

[9:05 PM - 9:10 PM] Introduce Appsmith and re-iterate why we love open source
[9:10 PM - 9:20 PM] Live demo on how to open a PR and get started with open source.
[9:20 PM- 9:30 PM] Q & A from the community and/or allow people to share thoughts
