Event Description

Grakn Orbit

Our newest community event brings members of the Grakn Community to the forefront. Through tech panels, presentations, use case deep dives and more, our community shares the latest and greatest from the Grakn Cosmos.

Looking forward to seeing you there and hopefully participating as a panelist, presenter, round table guest, or running demo – this is the Grakn Orbit.

Join as an attendee and hear from those building and solving the world’s most complex problems.

Hacktoberfest

This event is run in collaboration with Hacktoberfest — brought to you by DigitalOcean in partnership with Dev & Intel — is a month-long celebration of open source software. Maintainers are invited to guide would-be contributors towards issues that will help move the project forward, and contributors get the opportunity to give back to both projects they like and others they've just discovered. No contribution is too small — bug fixes and documentation updates are valid ways of participating.

Learn more at https://hacktoberfest.digitalocean.com. To qualify for the official limited edition Hacktoberfest shirt, you must register and make four pull requests between October 1-31. Pull requests can be to any public repo on GitHub, not just the ones with issues labeled Hacktoberfest. If a maintainer reports your pull request as spam or spammy behavior, or not in line with the project’s code of conduct, you will be ineligible to participate.

Event code of conduct

Grakn is a database technology that serves as the knowledge base foundation to intelligent systems. Grakn allows intelligent systems to interpret complex datasets as a single body of knowledge that can be logically reasoned over - a critical process in human cognition and until now not practicable for computers to do. Grakn removes the database restraints and imposes the structures to allow reasoning and inference over vast and expandable data sets, a vital component for the next development of AI systems and applications.
