Event Description

The event has been curated, keeping the interests and experience of a newbie to an advanced developer in mind, packed with fun games, multiple sessions and lots of learning. It'll begin with an introduction to Open Source, Git and GitHub, their importance and relevance of initiatives such as Hacktoberfest through an interactive session. Then, there will be a discussion about commits and good commits v/s bad commits, where the floor will be open for discussion and all the participants can give their views from their understanding. This will be followed by participants making their first commit under the organising team's guidance which would mark the end of Day1.
The participants can make the rest of the commits and can contact us for any issues. Second day will begin with discussions about GSoC, experiences of people who cleared GSoC and some great open source projects to which, people can contribute and would be followed by troubleshooting the issues related to PRs and a formal closing of the event.
