The Nest.land Hacktoberfest event will feature an online meetup with guest speakers: Ryan Dahl (Creator of Node and Deno), Sam Williams (Founder and CEO of Arweave), and Michael Spengler. Following the meetup, participants can spend the weekend creating and publishing (or contributing to) Deno modules!
See our participant registry for more information.
First, sign up on the Hacktoberfest site at https://hacktoberfest.digitalocean.com. To qualify for the official limited edition Hacktoberfest shirt, you must register and make four pull requests between October 1-31. Pull requests can be to any public repo on GitHub, not just the ones with issues labeled Hacktoberfest. If a maintainer reports your pull request as spam or spammy behavior, or not in line with the project’s code of conduct, you will be ineligible to participate.
The Nest.land and Deno.land Organizations reserve the right to disqualify a user or module for any reason.
Hacktoberfest meetups are welcoming, open, and inclusive. Please read the Events Code of Conduct before attending. Happy hacking!

Nest.land combines Deno with the Arweave. With us, you can publish your Deno modules to the permaweb, where they can never be deleted. This avoids a major pitfall for web-based module imports while allowing developers to leverage Deno's import design!
