We are thrilled to announce that CBIT Open Source Community will be hosting a 24-hour virtual hackathon as a part of Hacktoberfest.

We hope to bring all the open-source enthusiasts, build and run an experience of their own. This will act as the perfect platform for the rookies and newbies to get a kickstart in their Open Source journey; with mentors to help you through the hurdles. The perfect package of fun and coding.

Rules and Rewards

  1. First, register yourself at https://forms.gle/oaiB4bb5LCLF7aeDA.

  2. If a maintainer reports your pull request as spam or spammy behavior, or not in line with the project’s code of conduct, you will be ineligible to participate.

  3. Winners will be rewarded with swags and goodies.

Event code of conduct

  1. Cbit Hacktoberfest hackathon 2020 is dedicated to providing a harassment-free event experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical
    appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices.

  2. We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form.

  3. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate during the event while the workshops, coding icebreaker sessions, the presentations etc.

  4. Event participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event.
