Localhost is a great way to build your tech skills and hang out with the hacker community. If you'd like to attend the workshop all you need to do is register on this page and check the page again an hour before the event begins. Get to know Horizen

Horizen is a blockchain platform that allows developers and businesses to create their own public or private blockchain network on one of the largest blockchain networks in the world. Participants will learn how to create an application that harnesses this expansive network.

Cryptocurrency? Blockchain? We’ll Explain It All

You may have heard words like “cryptocurrency” and “distributed network” when people talk about blockchain. This workshop not only coves how blockchain works and how to build a blockchain app but also how these technologies come together to make the exciting field of blockchain.

Requirements / Prerequisites

System Requirements:
MacOS or Windows 8 or higher
Web browser such as Chrome

While no background knowledge is required, familiarity with any scripted language (C, Java, etc) will be beneficial for participation in this workshop.
