Event Description

Workshop overview: Learn from one of Sam’s Technology’s leaders as he discusses how to take a tech idea and bring it to a prototype. Our speaker for this event is Adam Cantor, Senior Manager 1, Software Engineering.

Adam Cantor is a robotics industry veteran with more than 10 years of experience in the most challenging robotics projects of our day. Humanoid robotics, swarm theory, AI, alternative energy, autonomous vehicles, intelligence prosthetics, biomimicry, mass market consumer robots, and more. At Sam’s Global Tech he is leading some of the most exciting teams in new AI, Computer Vision, and Machine Learning projects, using robotics, big data, and advanced sensing. In his spare time he volunteers for assorted STEM education causes, and for Environmental non-profit organizations, and in his spare spare time he likes to cook Cajun Food, Travel, and Scuba Dive.
