Localhost is a great way to build your tech skills and hang out with the hacker community. If you'd like to attend the workshop all you need to do is register on this page and check the page again an hour before the event begins. You'll find the link to the Zoom as well as a bunch of resources for the workshop!
In today’s workshop, participants will learn about the basics of Game Programming, from understanding the concepts of state and game loops to building their own Rock, Paper, Scissors game using Python. We’ll take it up a level by showing participants how to use advanced game logic to program a smarter computer opponent, introducing them to the basics of Artificial Intelligence in the process.
We've partnered with the Basic TrAIning program from Capital One to bring you this workshop. Capital One is one of the largest banks in America and handles immensely complex financial transactions and their technology team is at the core of all of that.
No special software is necessary. Computers that can connect to the internet are all that’s required! The latest version of Google Chrome is the preferred browser for this workshop, but it’s not required.
