[GHW: Share 2022] Infrastructure as Code

Event Description

This live demo will teach you the basics of IaC or Infrastructure as Code. You'll learn how to set up a website on a server with little more than some pre written instructions and a tool called Terraform.

Make sure you're signed up for Linode and have your $100 credit. Head over to https://hackp.ac/ghwshare-Linode.

Some basic knowledge of web development principles and Command Line Interface will be useful but not entirely necessary.

This content is fully supported on Mac & Linux. Windows users can install WSL (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/install) or use Linode's built-in terminal to follow along.
