Introducing DFINITY and the Internet Computer, an amazing new blockchain powered development platform! In today’s workshop, you’ll learn how easy it is to build a multiplayer video game using the Internet Computer’s very own language, Motoko! We’ll even take it a step further and show you how you can deploy that game to the Internet Computer’s network and start playing with your friends in real time!
Requirements / Prerequisites
In order to deploy your project to the Internet Computer, you will need access to a GitHub account. You will need to have a working version of Node.js installed on your computer and have a downloaded version of the DFINITY SDK. Don’t have those installed yet? The material will walk you through Node.js and DFINITY SDK installation.
Locations have different requirements for who can attend. This location is open to the following:
