Celebrate Pride Month with Major League Hacking and three amazing LGBTQIA+ professionals in tech. Meet the technologists, hear their personal stories, and ask them your own career questions at the end.

This panel is hosted in partnership with TechTogether and QWERHacks.

Aaishika S Bhattacharya (They/Them) is working towards helping future developers be better. They are a Developer Advocate Intern at DigitalOcean and codedamn, GitHub Campus Expert, Google DSC Lead, and Alexa Student Influencer. In the past, they have been a DigitalOcean Navigator and an MLH Coach. Aaishika is also the host of Hacking Hackathons, a show on GitHub Campus TV concentrated on reconstructing the idea that students have about hackathons and providing the resources and guidance that folks usually miss out on.

Charles Britt (He/Him) is is the Director of Cybersecurity Education at Fusion Cyber, a DC-based startup company that specializes in accelerated cybersecurity training and workforce development. Mr. Britt has over 20 years of IT, cybersecurity, and program management experience across government, academia, and nonprofit organizations. He most recently served as a Cybersecurity Compliance Officer with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and began his professional career in 2001 with the Central Intelligence Agency. Charles volunteers with Out in Tech as the Partnerships Manager for the organization's youth outreach initiative.

May Márquez (she/her) is a software engineer at Electronic Arts, where she works on the Madden series of games. She received a master's degree in computer science from Florida International University and has been working to improve the Miami tech scene ever since through her work with Upsilon Pi Epsilon, the largest student-led tech organization in Miami. She's a self-described serial hackathon organizer, and has helped to organize the ShellHacks, TechTogether Miami, and, most recently, Miami for Everyone hackathons. Her major accomplishments include raising over $250,000 for charity through various video gaming community fundraisers and hosting several tech workshops at events across the country.

Autumn Chiu (She/They) is a software engineer at SwagUp and an alum of the MLH Fellowship. She studied English and Asian Studies at university and taught herself almost everything she knows about programming. When she's not coding, she enjoys singing, playing the piano poorly, and doing sudoku puzzles.
